The festivities were incredible, filled with celebrations, laughter and, of course, delicious gastronomic indulgence. But now that the dust from the confetti and streamers has settled, it's time to reset your body and start the new year on the right foot. In this article, we'll explore post-holiday detox recipes that are not only healthy, but also delicious – because taking care of your health doesn't have to be monotonous!

1. Revitalizing Detox Juice:


  • 1 green apple, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
  • 1 handful of fresh spinach
  • 1 handful of mint
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 glass of coconut water

Preparation method: Blend all ingredients in a blender until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. Strain if you want a smoother texture. Serve with ice.

2. Quinoa Detox Salad:


  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1 cucumber, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1 avocado, cut into cubes
  • 1 handful of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation: In a large bowl, mix the quinoa, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado and cilantro. In a separate bowl, make a dressing with the lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Pour over the salad, mix well and eat! 

3. Detoxifying Green Smoothie:


  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple
  • 1 handful of kale
  • 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of chlorella powder (optional)
  • 1 glass of coconut water

Preparation method: Blend all ingredients in a blender until you obtain a smooth consistency. Serve immediately. 

4. Vegetable Detox Soup:


  • 2 carrots, peeled and cut
  • 2 zucchini, cut into cubes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 1 liter of vegetable broth
  • Salt, pepper and herbs to taste

Preparation method: Sauté the onion and garlic in a little olive oil until golden. Add the carrots, zucchini and vegetable broth. Cook until the vegetables are soft. Add the spinach and season to taste. Cook for a few more minutes before serving.

5. Ginger and Lemon Detox Tea:


  • 1 piece of fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
  • 2 cups of hot water

Preparation: Mix the grated ginger, lemon juice and honey in a cup. Pour hot water over the mixture and let it steep for a few minutes. Strain and enjoy! These recipes are the perfect way to renew and energize your body after a season of indulgence. In addition to being full of nutrients, they are also an explosion of fresh flavors.
