With Christmas just a few days away and before the guilt sets in, we bring you a sweet healthy surprise today. It's delicious, we tested it here and, as a bonus, we didn't give up on our diet. Let's start preparing?

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of oat flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of hot water

Method of preparation:

Prepare the dry mix: In a bowl, mix the oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Reserve.

Prepare the wet mixture: In a blender, combine bananas, Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), eggs and vanilla. Mix until you get a smooth mixture.

Combine the mixtures: Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir gently until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Add hot water: Add hot water to the dough and stir again. The final consistency must be liquid.

Axis: Pour the dough into a greased pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.

Decorate in the Christmas spirit: Once cool, decorate with a touch of powdered sugar in the shape of snowflakes, red raspberries for a festive touch and mint leaves for a Christmassy freshness.

This cake is not only a healthy treat but also a charming addition to your holiday table. Celebrate the season with joy, flavor and the certainty that it is possible to maintain tradition without compromising your health. Merry Christmas in advance, and may each slice be full of love and well-being!
